My name is Marisa Hollander, and I started Star Trek Site in 2017 after a decade of contributing to the Star Trek Encyclopedia and a personal frustration that the best pieces of Trek canon were scattered across out-of-print paperbacks, dead Geocities pages, and forum threads that Google had long since buried.
The Captain's Log is the Sunday morning version of that obsession. Every issue is written by me or one of our seven full-time editors, reviewed by our volunteer canon corps of 240+ active members, and cross-checked against Memory Alpha with any disagreements logged in our public Canon Notes appendix.
